In response to the common demands of integrated circuit material companies in terms of performance testing and R&D verification, JiCai Institute registered and established a wholly-owned subsidiary, Shanghai JiCai Microelectronics Materials Technology Co., Ltd., in the Electronic Chemicals Zone in January 2022, settling in Shanghai International Chemical Industry New Materials Innovation Center. The registered capital is 30 million yuan, the total investment in the first phase of the project is 150 million yuan, and the total construction area is nearly 2,100 square meters. The platform has built a synthesis laboratory, amplification laboratory, purification and canning laboratory, analysis laboratory and other professional laboratories. It can develop chemical synthesis technology, synthesize integrated circuit materials with precise and controllable structures, explore amplification processes, and prepare kilogram-scale integrated circuits. Circuit materials, and develop raw material purification technology to prepare integrated circuit materials with ppb and ppt level gold impurity content. The analytical laboratory can provide comprehensive and systematic integrated circuit material testing and characterization analysis, and will gradually establish industry standards for integrated circuit material analysis, testing and operating specifications. At the same time, the analytical laboratory service capabilities are shared and open to enterprises in the zone.
